Why I Teach.

Growing up, I spent most of my days with my dad, a public school teacher by day and a basketball coach by night. From him, I learned two things that have shaped my life: the value of a strong work ethic and the power of passion. As an awkward high schooler in show choir, I discovered a love for choreographing and teaching eager performers. That spark quickly grew into a calling.
In the years since then, I’ve had the privilege of working as a dance teacher, adjunct professor, choreographer, and theatre mentor. Performing remains one of my greatest joys, but what fuels my teaching is the opportunity to share that joy with others.
Ultimately, my goal isn’t just to teach dance. It’s to instill the same work ethic and fierce passion that my dad passed on to me, and to help students find their own love for the performing arts.
